Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026.
Scope of the Policy and Services Covered
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses, training modules, live workshops, and related digital resources offered through celehubxe. These services focus on professional video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. The policy governs transactions made by individuals or organisations located in the United Kingdom and covers both one-time course access and subscription-based learning programmes. It does not extend to third-party platforms or external resellers unless explicitly stated in the purchase confirmation.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable for consumers. Business customers may be charged VAT separately depending on their VAT registration status. No hidden fees apply to standard course access, yet additional charges may arise for expedited certification, printed materials, or customised group training sessions. Currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider remain your responsibility and are not reimbursed by celehubxe.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers for larger corporate bookings. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon submission of order details. All transactions are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Card details are never stored on our servers. Authorisation may be declined for suspected fraud, insufficient funds, or mismatched billing information, in which case you will receive an automated notification prompting alternative payment.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A binding contract forms once we send an order confirmation email containing your unique access credentials or booking reference. Until that point, any displayed prices or availability remain subject to change. Confirmation emails are sent to the address provided during checkout and include full details of the purchased course, duration of access, and applicable cancellation terms. You must retain this confirmation for any future refund requests.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK consumers benefit from a 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts. This period begins on the date of contract formation. You may cancel without reason within this window provided you have not started consuming the digital content. For live workshops or scheduled sessions, cancellation must occur at least seven days prior to the event to avoid administrative fees. Cancellation after the cooling-off period or after content access has begun is governed by the refund eligibility rules below.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available only when cancellation occurs within the 14-day cooling-off period and no substantial portion of the course has been accessed. Digital downloads, completed live sessions, and personalised course materials are non-refundable once delivered. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but refunds are limited to the unused portion of the current billing cycle after the cooling-off period. Promotional or heavily discounted courses may carry stricter refund conditions stated at purchase.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and a clear statement of your intention to cancel. Include the date of purchase and any relevant access details. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limits. We acknowledge receipt within two working days and may request additional information such as proof of non-access where necessary.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
Upon receiving your request, our team reviews access logs and purchase records within five working days. Approval is granted if eligibility criteria are met. Rejection occurs if the cooling-off period has expired, content has been substantially viewed, or the request lacks required information. You receive written notification of the decision via email, including reasons for any rejection and details of any partial refund offered.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days, while PayPal refunds process within three working days. Bank transfers may take up to fourteen days depending on your institution. We notify you once the refund has been initiated. You remain responsible for monitoring your account for receipt of funds.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital courses are treated as digital content under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Access begins immediately upon confirmation, which may limit cancellation rights if you have consented to early performance. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers such as bundle discounts or free trial extensions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Early termination of a subscription does not entitle you to a refund of any introductory discount period already used.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments result in automatic suspension of access until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated upon notification and corrected within seven working days. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may lead to permanent account restrictions. Suspected fraudulent activity triggers immediate account review and may involve reporting to relevant authorities while preserving evidence for legal compliance.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or UK GDPR. These rights cannot be excluded or limited. If any term conflicts with mandatory law, the statutory provision prevails. You retain the right to seek redress through the courts or alternative dispute resolution schemes where applicable.
